Classroom Policies:·
Students are expected to participate fully in class activities.·
Follow the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would like yourself to be treated. (classmates and teachers included) This rule also applies to talking. Only one person talks at a time.·
Students will arrive on time to class, and will be in their seat when the bell rings or they will be considered late.· Students are expected to come to class prepared with their notebooks and any other materials required for that day.·
Attendance is extremely important. Students who miss class due to an excused absence or school activity are expected to talk to the teacher the following day to get their make-up work or to schedule a time when the work may be made up. Any assignments due the day of the absence are due the day of return.·
Late work for other than excused absences will not be accepted. Work is due when the teacher collects it.· If a student is absent the day of a test or quiz they will need to meet with the teacher to discuss how it will be made up.·
Students will be expected to keep a notebook in which they keep their notes, labs, quizzes, tests, and other assignments in. An organized notebook will be your chief study guide in this class, and will help you succeed in my class. ·
Cheating will not be tolerated and will result in a ZERO on any test, quiz, lab, or homework assignment for both parties involved (THIS INCLUDES COPYING SOMEOME ELSE’S WORK AND PLAGIARISM.)
I want everyone to be successful in this class. If you are feeling confused please ASK QUESTIONS! I will be available for individual help before and after school. Be sure to make the necessary arrangements ahead of time to ensure that I will be available. I am also reachable through e-mail for those students who have questions and are unable to meet before or after school.
